YLANG YLANG OIL In the Philippines, an infused oil, called boori-boori (made by soaking the ylang ylang’s aromatic flowers in coconut oil) is used as a perfumed body lotion that some believe will ward off malevolent spirits and cure the illnesses these may cause. It is also used to prevent fevers during the rainy season as well as for skin rejuvenation. In Aromatherapy practice Ylang Ylang is considered to be useful in the treatment of acne, irritated skin, aging skin, oily or dry skin.
